I wish I was someone who had a preferred doll scale and kinda dislike the other ones. I love all the scales for their own reasons but it makes it harder when I want to buy clothes and accessories. Like I can’t decide if I want to spoil my SD girls or my minifees. There are clothing pieces from one scale I love on a doll who’s a different scale and it wouldn’t fit.

Things to know about Commander Vaebn under the cUT

1. Yes that is a tattoo on his chest, yes he's a nationalist loser

2. He's nephew of the Praetor and youngest son of Emperor Shiarkiek- this doesn't afford him much special treatment when you have many older siblings inheriting things (Shiarkiek is ancient, I'm assuming he has older children), so he has the skill to back up the ego that got him his place as Commander and he strives to be on the Senate

3. He lives to personally piss off Captain Picard in the most outlandish fashion possible- the only one more annoying than Vaebn has to be Q tbh

4. He actually has a rather small crew of only about 500 or so, he refuses to use any other ship than what I lovingly call his 200 year old piece of shit space hoopty called the Tuhellen

(Pictures of said space hoopty- it actually is very high tech, it's been outfitted with the modern technology rival of a D'Deridex, so its rather deceptive in its small size for the amount of firepower it carries)

5. He's either extremely intimidating or an absolute loser and there's no in between

6. I use Commander Lovok as a loose face claim of sorts, if only he was a tad bit smarmier looking

Ok, this is just to start with!

So, here’s My Size Barbie (Sarah), Jakks Pacific Disney Princess Playdate Moana (Luna) and Rapunzel (Stella), and a 3 ft anatomical skeleton I got off of Amazon. They’re standing against one of those foldable cardboard ....measuring boards? I don’t know, it can’t be a cutting board.

And now! Here she is!

Miss Orc!! We have Sarah, Stella, a Best Fashion Friend Barbie, aaaaand Miss Orc aka Bianca! I have more dolls that I intend to do comparison pictures with, but I felt like this was a good start and all of the other dolls are shorter than her, so we’ll call this Miss Orc vs bigger dolls lol

I LOVE finding little trinkets and toys for my mini BJDs. I’ve taken them to the store just to compare them to mini furniture to make sure it’s the right size. I adore my pocket dolls

So I made an over-sized 1/3 scale chair out of cardboard... I didn't bother taking step-by-step photos like normal since the size was a bit difficult to figure out. I had to take it apart twice because I messed up the arm rest size. (They are not even. lol) But it looks cute and it's stable so it'll hold up well.

When i first saw her i was so in awe of how beautifully she was sculpted and im so grateful that i was able to purchase one of her

And now she is here! In my house!!

So of course i spent today determinedly altering a size 000 baby dress to be a mini selkie-esque babydoll dress for her

I shortened the bodice and redid the sleeves which while that was tricky to figure out it thankfully wasnt a lot of sewing so i was able to knock it out reasonably quickly. I do need to put some hot glue along the top hemline to stop it sliding down though.....

But anyway aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
